The award was presented at SIVA’s annual partner assembly in Bodø, with State Secretary Tomas Norvoll from the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries acknowledging Ragn-Sells’ role in driving sustainable development.

“This recognition motivates us to continue developing sustainable solutions for the aquaculture industry. It shows that our efforts make a real difference, both for the environment and for Norwegian businesses,” says Ole Arthur Vaage, Product Development Manager at Ragn-Sells Havbruk, who accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Ragn-Sells has been a driving force in creating new value chains for processing and repurposing sludge from aquaculture. These efforts are vital in accelerating the green transformation of one of Norway’s most important industries.
